When you purchase your Tree Classics product, your information is automatically added to our warranty database. 10 Year Structural Tree Warranty

Each tree's framework is guaranteed for 10 years from the date of purchase. This warranty includes hinges, hinge pins, steel branch limbs, and the tree stand. It does not cover improper setup that would cause damage to the structure of the tree pole, tip fall-off, flocking fall-off, discoloration, damage caused by moving the tree during setup or takedown, or damages caused by a 3rd party hired to setup a tree. The warranty is null and void if the product is intentionally altered or damaged due to misuse, neglect, or weather damage.

1-Season Limited Light Warranty (Warranty Expires 12/25/10)

All of our pre-lit trees are covered by a 1-Season light warranty. This warranty covers shorts in the tree's wiring, problems with extension cords, transformers, or bulb socket failure. The exception is any Budget Buy inventory, Open-Box inventory, Wreaths, and Garlands, which are covered by a 30-day light warranty. Tree Classics does not charge for any repair work within the 1st season of purchase. For all other tree products, if there is a problem with any Christmas tree within the 1st season, we will either replace the section, or the tree if necessary, no questions asked. After the 1st season in the year of purchase, coverage ends.

On-Site Warranty Repair:

Our repair staff is available February through August each year. Please email or call us if you plan to ship something back for repair. Tree Classics does not repair any items during the season's distribution period of September through January.

For those trees purchased between 2006 and 2008 covered by our legacy 3 or 5 year light warranty: If you need a tree to be repaired and cannot resolve an issue with one of our technical staff via telephone you can choose to ship the tree or tree sections back to Tree Classics at your expense. If it has been less than 1 year from the date of sale and your purchase included a light warranty greater than 1 season, we will pay inbound shipping.

There may be a cost for repair if the problem is related to changing burned out lights. Unfortunately, there are no replacement trees or parts available that will be sent out for any models prior to 2008 since new inventory rotates seasonally. The only exception is tree stands.

Before you return a product for repair, please make sure the problem is not due to loose, broken, burned-out, or missing bulbs. This is NOT covered under the light warranty. If you need replacement bulbs, you may purchase them directly from our website: Replacement Bulb Order Form.

• Trees out of warranty cannot be sent in for repair.
• Non Tree Classics trees cannot be sent in for repair.
• Trees, wreaths, or garlands with burned out lights cannot be sent in for repair.

What Is Not Covered by the Warranty:

If your tree is out of warranty we will only troubleshoot lighting issues via telephone or email for support. This warranty excludes bulb burnout including wear and tear damage resulting from accident, outdoor usage, alteration, or misuse that can cause multiple-bulb failure. These issues are not covered by the limited light warranty and are the responsibility of the user. The warranty is void if the product is misused or damaged in any way. If a returned tree, wreath, garland, or failed section of a tree is shipped back and found to be non-functional due to user neglect, (rather than defect), the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges.

BURNED OUT BULBS, TORN STORAGE BAGS, REMOTE CONTROLS, COLOR CONTROL BOXES, OR TREE POLES BENT NEAR THE STAND ARE NOT COVERED BY ANY WARRANTY. IF YOU SEE BURNED OUT BULBS, PLEASE REPLACE THEM. USING A TREE WITH SEVERAL BURNOUTS CAN CAUSE A CASCADING LIGHT OUTAGE.

Please note:

This warranty is NOT transferable. Charitable donations and showroom floor models are AS-IS and are not covered under any warranty. Tree Classics trees purchased from any other 3rd party retailer are not covered under any warranty.

Non-Christmas Related Products:

Any other items purchased through us may be covered by a manufacturer's warranty not associated with Tree Classics. These items include, but are not limited to: train sets, home décor, gift items, Santas, outdoor décor, and all other Four Seasons' products.

International Returns:

Although Tree Classics fully supports its warranties; we do not include freight charges for international returns on any warranty work. If for any reason you choose to return a product from outside the U.S., international shipping charges must be pre-paid both ways.
